03/10/10 - Weapons Training - Dover Harbour Board Sports and Social Club 3pm - 7:30pm
Open to club member only, Master Phil Bradley is coming to the club on the 3rd October to start our weapons training, starting with the Bo and Jo Staff. Places are £20 for 4 and a half hours training, and will be working on material for grading on that weapon.

17/07/10 - Archers Court Maths and Computer College Fund Raising Demonstration - Dover
We are doing two demonstration at Archers court maths and Computer College, Whitfield, Dover, Kent CT16 2EG on Saturday 17th July. They are fund raising for Cancer research, Help the Heroes, Demelza and the RNLI.
We are doing two 20-30 minute demonstrations at 10:30 and 11:30. This is open to both Junior and Adult students and it would be great to see you there. Please let Sensei Steve Pinfold know if you are able to attend (details here), the more the merrier. Please be there at 10:15am and it should be all done by 12:00pm. Please wear your Gi's and bring plenty of water and sun cream for the good weather.

18/12/09 - Christmas Dinner and 10th Anniversary Party - The Three Cups, Dover.
As it is the clubs 10 year anniversary this year, we are hosting a joint party with the Christmas Dinner at the Three Cups in Dover on Friday 18th December. This will include a hot buffet (with Turkey and christmas pudding!!), live music, with the hope of some special guests. This will be at £15 per head, ticket only as we need to confirm the numbers before hand. The dress is smart, no jeans. Adults only, partners welcome. We have started a christmas club, please see Alice or Annette. Hope you can make it!

This is an annual awards and training extravaganza. The club will pay for any training but not for transport, accomodation or gala meal though these will be discounted. Please contact Sensei Steve to book your place or for any other information.

We are doing a demonstration at St Mary's Church of England Primary School Laureston Place, Dover, Kent CT16 1QX on Saturday 27th June. Our appearance last year at the fete was well received and we have been asked to do another demonstration this year. This is open to both Junior and Adult students and it would be great to see you there. Please let Sensei Steve Pininfold know if you are able to attend (details here), the more the merrier. 11/04/09 - Trinity Cup Tournament - Interclub Competition 10am - 6pm.
This is to be the first of an annual event between Shims Way, The Way of the Ronin and Go Shin Ryu jujitsu clubs. This is open to both junior and adults and will be hosted by Shims Way Dojo, Dover, Kent. Entry will cost £15 for adults, £10 for juniors and £5 for spectators, this fee includes food. For more information, please talk to your sensei and we hope to see you there.

07/12/08 - Last Training Session before Christmas and Adult Grading
Due to the Christmas period and bookings at DHB Sports and Social Club, the last training session will be on Sunday the 7th of December. This will also be an adult grading on the new syllabus for the lower grades (white to orange). The grading will start at 4:30, finishing at 8:30.
13/12/08 - Christmas Dinner - Ramada Hotel, Whitfield.
Christmas dinner is now booked and menus will be available for you to make your choices. This year it is a three course meal wih coffee and entertainment for all those who wish to throw a few shapes on the dancefloor! Total cost is £29.95pp but a £10pp deposit is required by the 1st Thursday of November. Adults only. Hope you can make it!
